Is Praising Jesus a Good Thing?

Dearest Great-and-Mighty Lord Jesus ,

Lord, You are looking into my heart. And because I know You, Jesus, now I am com ? ing back to the heart of worship ; and it’s all about You, it’s all about You, Jesus! I’m sorry, Lord, for the thing I’ve made it, when it’s all about You— all about You, Jesus .

And Lord, I’m amazed by You! Lord, I’m amazed by You. Lord, I am amazed by You…amazed at how You love me!

How wide, how deep, how great…is Your love for me!

You are the King of Endless Worth . I love You, Jesus. Please accept my praise…and let me worship You, Lord. May it be!

Amen.

“Flap” Writings for Sunday, October 8th, 2006

Inside Flap

Outside Flap

What Does Prayer Do?

Prayer does not change God?s mind, but it does enable Him to change His reaction and response to the one who prays.

To a man (or woman) whose readiness is shown by prayer, God can give what He could not give before; because the man was not ready for it. The changed heart and mind of a man enables God to change His response.

Prayer opens the door to let Christ in; He cannot (will not) come in by Himself, for as in Holman Hunt?s painting, ?The Light of the World,? the door on which Jesus knocks has no latch nor knob on the outside.

WHAT DOES PRAYER DO? You open your heart?s door for Jesus to come in when you pray!

Pray. Let Jesus IN to be with you!

Thank you so much for praying!

Amen.

Most Blessed!

Among men, I am the most blessed. Why?

The Father God gave
Jesus to me.

?No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.? (John 6:44)

Jesus gave
the Father to me.

?Jesus saith unto him, ?I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.?? (John 14:6)

The Holy Spirit leads
me to Jesus.

?But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.? (John 14:26)

Like I said, I am blessed. Thanks be to God who leads us in Victory and Triumph through His unspeakable gift, our Lord Jesus Christ! (see 1 Corinthians 15:57, and 2 Corinthians 2:14; 9:15).

Amen.
